About laminates

HPL

 

High Pressure Decorative Laminate (HPL) has been around over 80 years. Over the years HPL has become popular surface material on many interior application like tabletops, cabinet doors etc. etc. Thickness of HPL sheets range from 0,6mm to 1,2mm depending on application. Mostly used thickness for Nordekor-Laminates is 0,7mm.

Compact Laminate

 

Compact laminate is 3 - 18 mm thick High Pressure Laminate having decorative face on both sizes. Unlike thin HPL ‘skins’ compact laminates are used without supportive board. Lack of wooden support makes compact laminate perfect for applications in harsh or humid environment, like dressing and showers rooms, outside walls cabinet doors at schools etc.
